AWESTARS AAU Basketball Portraits

Butler Bulldogs Win Horizon Basketball Championship

Horizon Basketball Tournament: Butler vs Milwaukee

I shot the semi-final game of the Horizon Basketball tournament and Butler is heading to the finals. The Bulldogs now have a 19 game win streak and will play Wright State in the Finals on Tuesday. Here are some shots.

Butler vs Siena Bracketbuster Game

Butler hosted Siena for the ESPN Bracketbuster game and it was also Senior night. Butler pulled away late and ended up blowing the visiting team out. Butler now owns the longest winning streak in the nation.

I had a great opportunity to photograph the Butler vs. Detroit basketball game this week. Hinkle Fieldhouse is a magical place to watch a basketball game. It was a exciting game that went down to the last few minutes until Butler pulled ahead for the victory. I love photo passes. Here are some of my favorite images.

Cowboys Stadium

I made my first trip to the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Texas for the Cowboys vs. Falcons game. As much as I miss the tradition of the old Texas Stadium, this place is awesome in size and design. The Cowboys even won, which always makes the trip to see them even better.

This family rocked it out for the camera. We walked around the Indianapolis Museum of Arts and had a great time. They are all naturals in front of the camera and it was hard to edit down all of the great images for the blog. I had a blast with this family and it felt like I had known them for years. I got to witness Butler going 5-0 from the sidelines this past weekend. It was a great Homecoming victory with Butler winning on a last second FG. My image of the final FG even made it onto the Butler web site...cool. Here are some images from the game.

This session is close to my heart. This husband and father is my best friend. Always has been and always will be. He is one of a kind, and I am lucky to have had such a great person in my life ever since I can remember. I tried as hard as I could to capture this family the way I have always seen them...fun, loving, caring and most of all huge Dallas Cowboys fans:) I think I accomplished it as you will see in the photos. Cam is as cool as the other side of the pillow and Casey and Jen are as fun as they make a couple. Casey it has been amazing watching you grow as a husband and father, I am proud of the man you have become. Maybe I should send you some friendship beads for your shoes:) Guys I love you and I hope you will look back at these photos in 20 years and remember how much fun the journey was.

I had the opportunity to capture some high school football sectional action. Here are a few shots from the game, Ritter is ranked #1 in class A.
